We have always seen New Balance as a shoe for the running connoisseur, the kind of guy who likes the comfort and feel of a classic running silhouette. That does not mean that NB has not moved with the times, because it has, and today the company makes some of the most advanced performance trainers on the market. The New Balance M1300GD ($160) is suitably comfortable with an ENCAP sole, but the classic lines from a vintage runner and the slick grey and orange colorway make this a very desirable shoe indeed. via
